Sharon Wedlock - Principal Sharon is a Chartered Accountant and the Principal of Searells. Sharon has twenty years experience in a variety of Chartered Accountants' practices and while originally based in the North Island she has been in Christchurch for fifteen years and was with Searells for 6 years before purchasing the business in 2003.
Sharon strives to provide an efficient and timely service to all clients working closely with a variety of businesses and individuals.
Richard Sissons - Consultant Richard joined Searells in 1971,was a partner/director from 1973 until 2003 and continues as a Consultant to the firm. Richard is a Chartered Accountant.
Richard specialises in the areas of business acquisition, sale and restructuring, business and share valuations, trust and taxation planning with a special interest in bloodstock and land sales.
Peter Curnow - Business Manager Peter has been in banking and finance for over 25 years. He graduated from Canterbury with a Law Degree in 1995 and has had significant experience in both staff management and client relationship roles.
Peter also worked for Lion Nathan and a local finance company in commercial and credit roles. His driver has always been what is best for his clients. You can benefit from his banking and commercial experience - all he needs is some of your time.
Christine Coulthard - Accountant Christine graduated from Canterbury University with a BCom in 1980, and has extensive experience working in accounting practices. She has worked for Searells for over 10 years. Christine provides accounting, including management accounting, and taxation services to a wide variety of clients, and has a special interest in retailers, property investment syndicates, bloodstock, and estates and trusts.
Janet Crook - Chartered Accountant Janet is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience. Janet joined Searells in 2004 and has clients ranging from farming to manufacturing businesses and retailers.
Janet delivers quality service and vastly experienced advice to her clients in a wide range of issues that reach far beyond compliance work.
Jo Dunn - Chartered Accountant Jo is a Chartered Accountant who qualified in 1998. Jo joined Searells in November 2005 after living in the United Kingdom for the past 4 years, gaining experience in both the commercial environment, and working for a large hedge fund company. Jo has a diverse range of clients, including manufacturing, commercial and residential property holders, farming and hospitality. She also has an interest in the investment sector.
Lorraine Hunger - Accountant Lorraine started working at Searells in 1990 and has a variety of clients for whom she provides accounting and business services. Lorraine has clients that are commercial property and passive investors, professionals, mortgage brokers, family trusts, and bloodstock breeders and traders. Lorraine is responsible for the tax management of all clients and preparation of taxation notices.
Trish Skelton - Accountant Trish has over 26 years' experience working in Chartered Accountancy practices as a senior accountant. She has always regarded clients' individual needs and expectations as a priority. Trish has had a diverse client base over the years, including farmers, manufacturers and medical specialists. Since joining Searells in 2005, Trish has developed a special interest in the bloodstock and hospitality sectors. Trish is the contact person at Searells for any MYOB set-up or processing queries that clients may have. Trish has recently become XERO Certified and can assist you with any XERO query you may have.
Simone Jeenes - Chartered Accountant Simone is a Chartered Accountant and has been with Searells since October 2006. Simone has worked in Chartered Accountancy practices for ten years. She has a wide range of experience over a variety of industries. She enjoys working with small and medium business owners including those who are keen to grow their business. Simone has also recently become XERO certified and is able to assist you to use XERO to your best advantage.
Diane Reynolds - Accountant Diane had worked in Chartered Accounting for 10 years prior to joining with Searells in 2005. She is experienced in a wide range of tasks and offers a convenient point of contact for clients. She enjoys working with a variety of small businesses and investors.
Nicky Kent - Administration Nicky is our Office Manager. Nicky has had eight years experience in the Chartered Accounting environment and is a valuable addition to our team. Nicky can assist client with MYOB Payroll queries while ensuring the smooth running of the Searells office.
